I've learned this by the worst way possible and had to do a clean install of the OS Windows 10 , which was a major hassle. I don't know if there's a way to safely install the game on modern machines, for that you'll have to search. Yes, I know, the page mentions the problem, but I completely missed it the first time, so it may occur to someone else.
